2020 Fall Sports Seasons Delayed Due to Covid-19

Due to increasing cases of Covid-19, Governor Lee extended the State of Emergency in Tennessee until August 29th, 2020. In light of these changes, the TSSAA Executive Director, Bernard Childress, released the following statement regarding Fall sports: “While the Governor’s order is in place, member schools cannot have any competition or scrimmage with other schools

Girls Soccer Conditioning and Tryouts

Conditioning for the girl’s soccer season begins on Monday, June 8th. Practice is 8am-10am, Monday-Friday. Please arrive early at the soccer field so we can take the player’s temperatures. Please bring your own water bottle and remember to practice proper social distancing. Please bring an updated sports physical form. All physicals must have been completed

Lady Panthers Scheduled to Compete in State Basketball Tournament

The TSSAA has indicated that the State Basketball Tournament will resume in May, 2020. Currently the Lady Panthers are scheduled to play Whitehaven on May 11th, 2020. No practices or workouts until further notice. We will post updates as they become available.

SMHS Lady Panthers Softball Will Play Midway at Home!

Today, March 12, the SMHS Lady Panthers will be playing Midway here at home. The game will start at 5:00 pm CST this evening. The girls are hoping to add a win to their bag tonight! Come out to support your Lady Panthers!

SMHS Panthers’ Baseball plays at Upperman High School today!

The Panthers baseball team will be playing against Upperman High School today, March 13. The game starts at 5:30 pm! The boys are looking forward to adding another win to their season record of 3-0. Come out and support your SMHS Panthers!

TSSAA Suspends Basketball Tournament

The Lady Panthers will not be able to claim their State Championship title this year as the TSSAA has decided to suspend the state basketball tournament due to public health concerns. We would like to congratulate the Lady Panthers, their coaches and our Panther Nation for a truly great season. Until Next Year: Go Panthers!
