Cookeville- On Saturday March 19 the Panthers and Lady Panthers of Stone Memorial traveled to Cookeville High School to compete against 12 other schools in the inaugural CHS Early Bird Invitational presented by Hot Rod Jon’s. The team face not only stiff competition by stiff headwinds for the majority of the day. At the

SMHS Wrestling Senior, Laura Napier went 4 for 4 to win her weight class at the Independence High School Holiday Tournament.
Wrestling Sophomore, Elmer Estrada took 4th place at the Beech Wrestling Tournament after entering the tournament unseeded and wrestling up a weight class to cover an injured teammate. Bowling Junior, Kara Adams has improved her bowling average by 50 points this season and won 2 out of 3 matches against CCHS to help lead the

The SMHS Track and Field team will be concluding their fundraiser for the year on Thursday March 3. They have been selling Boston butts, racks of ribs, and bacon. Orders can be picked up on Thursday March 10 at the football stadium. These are cooked by the national renown House of Hickory in Nashville, Tn.
